Latest Firmware Updates for Samsung Galaxy Korean Version

Here you can download and flash the latest firmware updates for your Samsung Galaxy Korean version Smart Phone

Note:
This is only for the KOREAN VERSION, don't flash these firmware for other version.

Also you need following stuffs to flash your phone

1. Samsung USB drivers Download
2. Odin 3.07 Download

Two things may vary from the above guide line

1. (In Step 5) You don't have (don't want) *.pit file in this case. You have only the PDA file to browse on Odin

2. (In Step 5) Don't Check on "RE-PARTITION"  this time. It shouldn't be TICKED.

After doing all correct, your phone will reboot. Don't remove the cable until it appears "PASS"

Fixed the problem with POWER BUTTON MENU of Samsung Galaxy S2

After flashing the firmware of GT-i9100 to SHW-M250S/K, the SG S2 shutdown straightly when you long press the power button without getting the power button menu.

Lets we see how to fix the problem

Now you have installed the Samsung USB drivers to your computer and you have Odin in your computer as well.
If not use following links to download those two

1. Samsung USB drivers Download
2. Odin 3.07 Download

Lets we start

Step 1. Download this  SGS2_Powerbuttonfix.rar  and extract the .rar file (It contains update.zip and root explorer application)

Step 2. Copy the two files in to the SD card, insert the card to the phone and turn-off the phone

Step 3. Get you SGS2 to the RECOVERY mode.

Let's see how to do it

 Press HOME button+ VOL UP button  +POWER button  together. If you do successfully, you can see the recovery mode screen as in the below picture.

Step 4. Select the "Apply Update from external storage" (Use Vol UP and DOWN button to go up and down the list and use power button to select any option you need)

          Then you will see the available files in the SD card. Choose "update.zip file" (use Vol up and   down buttons and Power button as you did in step 4.) After than it will flash on your phone (take less than a one minute)

Step 5. Select Reboot your phone and phone will be rebooted.

Step 6. Install the "Root Explorer" application to the phone. (this application already in your SD card, if any password ask, type "galaxys2sl")

Step 7. Open “Root Explorer” and proceed to “efs” >>>>> “imei”.

            Create a new file & named it “keystr”  
            Keep touch on “keystr”, then it will display a list

                  Choose “open in text Editor” and type “ON” and select “Save and Exit”  

     Step 8. Again keep touch on “keystr” and select “permission” from the list.

                 Tick to all the options have
     Step 9. REBOOT the phone again.
                When you long press the power button now, it will not turn-off this time, you will see the power button menu as shown in the picture below.

How to convert your Samsung Galaxy S2 korean version(SHW-M250S/K) to International version (GT-i9100)

This is the guidelines for who are interesting to convert Samsung Galaxy S2 Korean version to International version by your own

Note:

• This tutorial only for the SGS2 Korean version (Check the model no of your phone whether SHW-M250S or M250K)
• After this all the Korean applications will be removed and you can't use DMB-T TV (DMP-T TV only available in Korea. If you are not in Korea, just forget it)
• The phone will boot to GT-i9100 and the model no will be change from M250S/K to  GT-i9100
• The limitation of 80 characters in SMS will be fixed to 160 characters as the international version
• Use this guideline at YOUR OWN RISK.

Download the following stuffs

1. Samsung USB drivers Download
2. Odin 3.07 Download
3. SGS2 GT-i9100 pit file Download
4. SGS2 GT-i9100 Jelly Bean firmware Download

Create a new folder (named as 'Samsung Galaxy S2') and keep all the downloaded stuffs in it.

Lets start the operation...........!!!

Step 1. Install the USB drivers you downloaded and RESTART your computer

Step 2. Extract the Odin file

Step 3. Get you SGS2 to the download mode.
Let's see how to do it

 Press HOME button+ VOL DOWN button  +POWER button  together. If you do successfully, you can see the warning screen as in the below picture.

After that press VOL UP button to get the download mode. Then you will see the screen as the picture shown in below.

Step 4. Open the Odin and connect SGS2 to your computer with data cable.After your Phone connected with Odin, the ID:COM rectangle colored in LIGHT BLUE (in some lower versions of Odin it is YELLOW) and it is appeared ADDED! in message box as marked in RED in following picture.  

Step 5.
1. Click on PIT button on Odin and browse the GT-i9100 pit file (*.pit)

2. Then click on PDA button on Odin and Browse the stock rom(.tar or .tar.md5)

3. Check the Re-partition ON (wait about 5-15 seconds until the Odin takes above file. After taking all files to Odin you can see that in message box as shown in below picture)

4. If the every thing are same as shown in the picture below, Press START.
Don't touch the phone while flashing

It will take about 10 -20 minutes to complete the flashing. While Flashing the Odin will be like the picture shown in below

After Completing the flashing it will appear PASS in the rectangle in left-top. (See the picture below).
When it appear RESET, don't touch the phone or don't remove the data cable.

After doing all correct, your phone will reboot as GT-i9100................!!!

That's it..............................!!!

After flashing the firmware of GT-i9100 to SHW-M250S/K, the SG S2 shutdown straightly when you long press the power button without getting the power button menu.
